Leaving Today!

Since my last post life has been pretty uneventful... Since I started work it's been really quiet since a lot of people are still on vacation so there hasn't been too much to do. On Friday night I went out with some friends that I met here - Joelle (working here from the UK), Patrick (Joelle's boyfriend from home who's just visiting for a couple weeks), Dan (also working here from the UK), Jake (Joelle's roommate), Lawrence (Patrick's brother) and Rob (Lawrence's friend). We went to Scary Canary again, which has become somewhat of a favourite for our group. It's cheap, loud, busy, and a lot of fun! Didn't do much for the rest of the weekend, went down to Bondi beach on Saturday for the afternoon and then just did groceries, laundry etc on Sunday. Since then I've been spending all my free time packing - I leave for New Zealand today!! Doing a half day at work this morning and then heading home to finish packing and to go to the airport. I'll have tonight (Jan 8th) and tomorrow night at a hotel in Auckland before starting a tour around the country on Friday Jan 10th. I can't wait!
